After checking in at the North Creek Station Depot, rail bike riders board a shuttle bus for a short ride further north to our exclusive launch point. Riders will see many species of wildflower and opportunist shrub that are beginning to reclaim the tracks. Just before the halfway point riders will cross the wonderful trestle bridge with views up and down the Hudson River, with the confluence of the Boreas and Hudson Rivers seen to the East.

Once the rail bike trip is complete, you will have an hour or so to change into your river clothes, have a bite to eat, put personal non-river items into your car, and enjoy some games at the station before the tubing company picks you up for a 5-minute shuttle ride up the road. The timing for the tubing trip is subject to water levels and can vary up to an hour. Our station staff can share local activities and attractions near the station in North Creek, if you're interested. Once you’re in the water, the float back to the Depot takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Note: Water shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required. Flip flops or bare feet are not allowed. Water shoes are available for purchase at the Depot.
