Across the bay and through the beauty of Cape May and alongside the Garrett Family Preserve, Rev Rail and the Cape May–Lewes Ferry bring you the Ferry to Rail Adventure Package this summer!
This experience blends coastal cruising with scenic rail biking. With the ferry from Lewes, Delaware, shuttle, and rail biking all rolled into one, it’s a fun, seamless way to explore the area without ever needing your car.
Start your journey with an 80-minute ferry ride from the Delaware beaches to Cape May, enjoying refreshing bay breezes with views of lighthouses and marine life.
Once you arrive, a short shuttle brings you to Revolution Rail’s Cape May Station.
Enjoy your ride along historic tracks out to the Cape May Canal and with a second stop at The Nature Conservancy’s Garrett Family Preserve, home to wildflower meadows, butterflies, and migrating songbirds.
Escape the traffic, embrace the breeze, and explore Cape May by land and sea.

12:00 - 2:00 pm - Revolution Rail tour
3:30 pm - Board shuttle at Cape May Welcome Center, arrive back at Cape May terminal to board the 4:30 pm Ferry departure
4:30 pm - Depart Cape May
5:50 pm - Arrive in Lewes

10:15 am - Depart from the Lewes terminal
11:35 am - Disembark in Cape May, board the shuttle
2:00 - 4:00 pm - Revolution Rail tour
