Wildflower Weekend

Discover the Wild Side of Cape May — One Pedal at a Time

Whether you’re looking for a unique family outing for Dad, a romantic weekend activity, or simply a peaceful way to reconnect with nature or your crew — this is your moment to slow down and take it all in.

Here’s what makes this ride so special:

  • Pedal past painted mural train cars out to the Cape May Canal through blooming meadows and coastal wetlands. Take in the birdsong and the salt-kissed air—all from the comfort of your rail bike.

  • After a break and history talk with Rev Rail Guides at our picnic turn-around, you’ll begin the journey back.

  • Our next stop is an expanded nature walk led by TNC naturalists at the Garrett Family Preserve, who’ll share stories about native plants, pollinators, and conservation efforts that make this preserve so special. The preserve will be bursting with wildflowers and alive with butterflies, birds, and bees.

[The tour is] through fields of greenery and flowers. We stopped to take pictures of the water and other scenery. We had a great time with our friends. It was so different and we really enjoyed it.”
