Our Guides lead you on a one-way rail bike trip that includes expansive vistas of the Rio Grande and Coller State Wildlife Area. Upon arrival at the rafting put-in area, you join up with our partners at Rocky Mountain Ski and Raft before beginning the rafting float on a serene section of the Rio Grande back to the Depot.

The South River Run follows the Hudson River on a scenic out-and-back journey framed by forest canopy, wildlife habitats, and mountain views. With gorgeous views while pedaling along the river’s edge and sights that change with every season, this ride offers a peaceful Adirondack adventure for families, couples, and groups alike.
As evening falls, we set out on a magical guided rail bike adventure along the North Bridge Run. The golden hues of sunset fade into twilight as our lighted rail bikes carry us through the forest and across the bridge. At the turnaround point on the banks of the Boreas River, we arrive at a twinkling grove of lantern-lit trees, where a glowing fire pit and complimentary s’mores await.
Begin with a scenic rail bike ride from our exclusive North Creek launch point, pedaling past wildflowers and across the trestle bridge overlooking the Hudson and Boreas Rivers. Back at the Depot, enjoy time to change, snack, or relax before setting out on a tubing trip that floats you down the Hudson River right back to the station.
Rails to River South combines the 11:00 am South River Run rail bike excursion with a tubing trip down the Hudson River. Begin with an 8-mile round trip rail bike ride along the Hudson, surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and summer butterflies. After your ride, relax at the Station before shuttling to the river for a 1.5–2 hour tubing float back to the Depot.
